Our second graders learned important fire safety tips from local firefighters during National Fire Prevention Week! 🚒 Thank you to our community heroes for teaching our students how to stay safe!

We are having a classroom candy contest to support the Pemberton Elementary Trunk or Treat on October 28th. The class that brings in the most candy (by weight) will receive a movie with a treat!
🍭Bags of candy may be sent in your child’s bookbag, labeled with their teacher’s name.
🍭Candy will be accepted Tuesday, October 6th- Friday October 24th.
🍭The winning class will be announced on Tuesday, October 28th!

Check out Mrs. Kopp's 3rd Grade class! In art they did a resist painting of a leaf using oil pastels and liquid watercolor. 







This Week at Pemberton 🐼


🧍🧍♀️Yesterday Mrs. Thompson's 4th grade class did an arts integration project for their Human body, vision, and the brain unit. They colored different body parts, traced a classmate, and then put together all the body parts on their human outline.

Note for Wednesday, Oct. 1: Term 1 mid-term progress reports will come out Oct. 1 for students in grades 1-12. Be sure to review the progress report with the student to celebrate successes and set goals at the midpoint of the marking term.

📐✨ Mrs. Lloyd's first grade class used their creativity to learn how to make 2D shapes out of other 2D shapes! They also dove into math with base ten blocks, working on place value concepts. Check them out! 



🔦Mrs. Lobus's first grade class explored how shadows move by conducting a hands on experiment using flashlights!
