The first Superintendent's Open Door Session of the 2023-2024 school year will take place from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25 at the school system's office at 2424 Northgate Drive. The next monthly meeting of the Wicomico County Board of Education is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10 in the Board of Education Auditorium at 101 Long Ave., Salisbury.
For the Oct. 10th meeting, the Board will convene at 1:00 p.m. and immediately vote to go into closed session. The open portion of the meeting will begin at about 1:30 p.m. The agenda for this meeting will be available by the Friday before the meeting on BoardDocs: https://go.boarddocs.com/mabe/wcboe/Board.nsf/Public

The Office of Special Education and Early Intervention Services invites parents of students with disabilities to the first Special Education Citizens Advisory Committee (SECAC) meeting of the school year. The meetings is scheduled for September 21, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The hybrid meeting will take place in the Media Center at Prince Street Elementary School. Wicomico County Public Schools joins our country in remembering the importance of September 11th each year. The 9/11 anniversary is also Patriot Day, and the National Day of Service and Remembrance. It's an important date for all to reflect on the lives lost and service given.
