On Wednesday the Judy Center visited the Village at Mitchell Pond for a Pop-Up Playgroup. We read a story, did a craft and had a mini workout session with the parents and children. It was so good for our bodies and minds! 🎇 We are thankful to the Village at Mitchell Pond for allowing us to have this event.

🤗 Pemberton Elementary participated in the Mountaire’s “Thanksgiving for Thousands” Giveaway. We gave away 100 boxes. Each box held one whole chicken, a box of stuffing, gravy mix, canned vegetables, and brownie mix. Mrs. Morris, Mr. Tillman, Mr. Morris, Mr. Sterling and Ms. Barkley helped to pass out the 100 boxes to our Pemberton community. We thank everyone who came out!

On Thursday, November 21, Wicomico County Public Schools held two Public Information Sessions regarding the current School Boundary Study and the two draft options for boundary changes.
There is now an ONLINE SURVEY open through Dec. 9 to gather feedback on the two draft options for the school boundary changes. Just scan the QR code in either English, Spanish or Haitian Creole to participate in this survey. We want to hear from you.

We were able to enjoy a delicious meal 🍽 funded by the Judy Center and catered by The Deli at Pecan Square, followed by an exciting bonding activity by Pure Play Every Day, Inc. Pure Play demonstrated how rough housing with your children not only allows you to build a closer connection, but it is proven to make kids smart, emotionally intelligent, loveable and likeable, ethical, physically fit, and joyful. Hearing all of the squeals and giggles last night was so powerful ❤!

Reminder of the schedule for Wicomico County Public Schools next week: School is in session and offices are open Monday and Tuesday, and then the school system will be closed for Thanksgiving Break.
